Food is said to be the most important part of the day, and this is especially true for adults/elders over 65 or those with special needs. For them, food needs to be well prepared and well served, and, more importantly, our day care meals are served timely to match their medication schedules.

Eating healthy is an act of self-care that doesn’t require much effort; you can do it without even trying. Get in touch! Our staff is trained and committed to providing timely meals, from breakfast and day care lunch to dinner. We are based in Maryland and serve local to international dishes, meeting all participants’ health needs.
Day Care Food Program
Our programmed system has a nutritionally balanced breakfast, a fulfilling, satisfying lunch, and two planned snacks (mid-morning and mid-afternoon). These are well planned meals that help maintain normal blood sugar levels and long-term energy in the day which is essential in the activities and in the management of chronic illnesses.
Nutritional Standards and Guidelines
Gracepoint is a licensed Adult Medical Day Care that adheres to all COMAR standards and requirements. We ensure that every participant receives well-managed, clean, and the best possible nutritious meals based on their medical needs and care plans that match their medical prescriptions.
- 4-6 hours 1 meal & 1 snack minimum.
- 7+ hours receive a minimum of 2 meals and 1 snack
- > 8 hours 2 meals & 2 snacks minimum.
- Every Main Meal meets 1/3 Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA).
- Physician-ordered therapeutic diets only after approval by our RD.
- Nutritional deficit requires RD assessment.
The staff is fully trained, and the food is prepared within safe temperature ranges and in a hygienic manner, in strict compliance with all COMAR 10.15.03 and 10.12.04.20 Rules.
